Some great news! As a result of a lawsuit against the Muslim Ban and its unclear and inconsistent waiver process, the government has agreed to provide relief to 41,000+ non-immigrant visa applicants denied a waiver by Presidential Proclamation 9645. The government will notify these 41,000+ individuals directly through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) and advise them that if they wish to reapply for a non-immigrant visa, they may do so without paying a second fee. We are waiting to learn more as the court has required the government to provide a proposed schedule for notifying applicants and to specify what information and documents the applicants need to continue with their case.
The case is called Emami v. Nielsen. You can learn more about this case here and here. If your nonimmigrant visa case was denied due to the Muslim Travel Ban, we are happy to help to reopen your case based on this court decision. You can book a consultation via this link. Please note that when you book a consultation, the consultation fee will count as a credit toward any immigration services with us. For example, if your case costs $1000 and you paid $200 for a consultation, you will only need to pay $800 for the legal service. In other words, the consultation will be free and the fee you paid will be used towards your legal service. Why Choose ImmigraTrust Law for Your Immigration Needs?
